Becky’s Haiku: Guide and Mad

014

This world tries to guide

Me in lies of “liberty”

Til I’m mad, you see.

For I become too

Confused to see God’s Truth and

What is right for me.

So I hide in a

Solitary place seeking

God and his sweet grace.

I have just attempted another haiku challenge from Ronovan Writes blog using the words “guide” and “mad” and this time I wrote a three stanza poem. I am enjoying the challenges and I have no idea how he chooses the words to use.  If you like poetry and haiku’s then I invite you to also accept his latest challenge at this link: https://ronovanwrites.wordpress.com/2015/07/13/

Jesus’ GENTLENESS

Easter Cross

Guiding, peaceful Shepherd

Empathetic and understanding

Nurturing and caring

Tender Teacher of  Truth

Lowly, humble, and long-suffering

Extending kindness and mercy

Never wavering from God’s plan

Exuberant in glorifying God: not himself

Self sacrificing

Servant of Love
