When the day starts with
Hope and a sunlit sky, think
Of God and his love.
Its summer again; must enjoy
This warm season before it ends.
I gained some peaceful moments only
To be hounded by nagging doubts.

My moment; a small
Speck of time gone instantly
And no longer mine.
When the night dawns I
Sleep and rest while clothed in dark
Shadows of silence.
Hearing rhythmic water tinkling,

Vivid blue sea, I feel the
Suns’ warmth upon me.
When I’m restless and
Cannot sleep, Jesus is near
Watching over me.
How each year I think
Of winter’s end wishing for
