Becky’s Haiku: Regal and Hopeful

Sun shines in regal

warm splendor; hopeful now for

exit of winter.

Another haiku challenge from Ronovan Writes blog using the words “regal” and “hopeful”. If you like word challenges and haiku’s, then I invite you to also accept Ronovan’s latest challenge at this link and have fun: https://ronovanwrites.wordpress.com/category/haiku-prompt-challenge/

SNOWFLAKES in the Air

023

Soft, minute crystals everywhere

Night time sparkles filter the air

Often drifting on a frigid breeze

White splendor with a diamond gleam

Falling silently all around

Landing gently on the ground

All gathered to create a vivid wintry scene

Kindly making this world peacefully serene

Ever quiet and lasting until

Sunshine bursts forth in a warming spell
