Walked on a path and
I heard distinctive chirps of
A red-winged blackbird.
Holding tight to reins of
Control; found I must let go
While on quest of hope.
I have just attempted yet another haiku challenge from Ronovan Writes blog using the words “rein” and “quest”. I am enjoying the challenge of putting different and even opposite words in such a short poem.
